Sponsored Doula Services
Our Doula Services are specially designed to meet the unique needs of families throughout Greater Houston. We recognize that every birth journey is deeply personal, and our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized care to support mothers at every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. Our team of highly trained and experienced doulas offers both emotional and physical support, ensuring mothers feel empowered, informed, and confident throughout the process.

From the moment you connect with our doulas, you will receive personalized care, including assistance with birth planning, labor techniques, and postpartum support. Our doulas provide continuous support during labor, creating a calm and reassuring environment while assisting with comfort measures and offering advice on pain management options. They also serve as advocates for your birth preferences in hospital or birth center settings.

Research consistently shows the profound impact of doula care on birth outcomes. Mothers who receive doula support are four times less likely to deliver a low birth weight baby and are at a reduced risk for birth complications, including cesarean sections. Doula-assisted care is also linked to shorter labor times and increased maternal satisfaction with the overall birth experience.

Sponsored Doula Services – At No Cost to Eligible Clients
Enrolling now for our October 2024 launch, our Sponsored Doula Services are provided at no cost to eligible clients, thanks to internal and external funding. These services are aimed at families who would benefit most from doula care but may face financial barriers that prevent them from accessing it. By removing these barriers, we advance health equity and work to improve maternal health outcomes, particularly in under-resourced communities throughout Greater Houston.

This service is vital, especially in light of alarming statistics on maternal health. In Texas, maternal mortality rates are among the highest in the nation, with Black women experiencing a mortality rate more than twice that of white women. Hispanic and low-income families are also at increased risk for maternal morbidity and mortality. These disparities are driven by factors such as limited access to prenatal care, systemic healthcare inequalities, and broader social determinants of health, including income and healthcare accessibility.

Standard Doula Services – Available to All
In addition to our Sponsored Doula Services, we are excited to announce that our Standard Doula Services will be available to all families, regardless of eligibility. These services, which do not require qualification, will offer the same compassionate, high-quality care to expectant families in Greater Houston. The release date for our Standard Doula Services is forthcoming, and we look forward to supporting even more families through this offering.
